DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
DAY 1: Arrival, Transfer to the Hotel in Kampala.
The transfer will take you to Capital Palace Hotel the home of the famous Kampala Carnival for the Night stay. www.capitalpalace.ug
DAY 2: Depart for south western Uganda the Switzerland of Africa.
Early morning at 6:45am checkout and drive towards the western part of Uganda to Kabale town the drive takes approximately 7 hours with a brief stop for refreshments in Mbarara Town. Later proceed to visit Edriisa Museum thereafter proceed to Bird Nest Hotel on Lake Bunyonyi for Dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 3: Leave for an amazing Tour in the Forest.
Morning after breakfast at 7:30 am drive to Echuya Forest to have an authentic experience of the way of life of the minority tribe of the Batwa people. Lunch will be packed while Dinner and Night stay will be at Bird Nest.
DAY 4: Takes us through Stunning views of South Western Uganda.
After breakfast at 7:30am leave for Kisoro just 1½ hours away from Kabale continue to the experiential Golden Monkey Tour; one of Uganda’s conservation success stories. Dinner & Night at the Volcanoes Lodge.
DAY 5: We shall embark on a true cultural journey in the Wild.
Here in Mgahinga National Park in Kisoro we shall take on the cultural community trail of the Batwa were we shall see how adding value to Culture has tremendously improved community livelihoods. While, Dinner and the sleep over will be at Gahinga Lodge.
DAY 6: Transfer from Kisoro to Biharwe in Mbarara.
Early Morning after breakfast; check out at 9:00am and depart for Mbarara be in time for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. Afternoon will be at leisure, you can go for swimming while Dinner and overnight stay will be at Igongo Cultural Centre & Country Hotel www.igongo.co.ug
DAY 7: Igongo Cultural Tour.
After breakfast at 9:30am enjoy the tour of the Igongo Museum which brings you close to the history and the culture of the Banyankole who are traditional cattle keepers. Lunch will be served at the Igongo Restaurant. Evening will have a cultural extravaganza; Dinner and Night stay at Igongo Cultural Centre & Country Hotel. www.igongo.co.ug
DAY 8: Departure for Kampala.
Early morning at after breakfast at 8:00am checkout of hotel depart for Kampala en route visit Rwenjeru cultural site near Lake Mburo for the traditional cow watering experience. Lunch will be served at Brovad Hotel in Masaka thereafter proceed for a photo shoot at the Iconic Uganda Equator. Dinner and night stay will be at Capital Palace Hotel Kampala. www.capitalpalace.ug
DAY 9: Highlights visit the Uganda Museum & evening Cultural show.
Morning at 10:00am leave for the tour of the Uganda Museum just a snip preview of our rich cultural heritage. Lunch at Kampala Carnival while Afternoon will be at leisure. At 5:00pm depart for Ndere Cultural Center for an un forgettable true African cultural show of a life time. Dinner and night stay will be at Capital Palace Hotel Kampala. www.capitalpalace.ug
DAY 10: Kampala Cultural Tour.
After morning breakfast leave at 8:00am for Kabaka’s lake, visit Bulange Buganda’s lukiiko great story of the Royal Mile. Later do some shopping, Lunch will be at either K2 or Saba Saba Restaurant a typical cultural meal of steamed food in banana leaves. Afternoon transfer to Entebbe 34 kms away from Kampala to Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre for the overnight stay.
DAY 11: Brings you to a tour of the hidden cultural gems.
After breakfast at 8:00am enjoy a cultural tour of Buganda’s unique culture at the Uganda Wildlife Educational Center. Later have lunch thereafter depart for home – transfer to Entebbe International Airport.
